Initial consultation
This time is spent getting to know you and your goals for therapy, as well as discussing how we can best work together moving forward.

Subsequent consultations
During these sessions we will explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours together. Typically, appointments are weekly or fortnightly and are tailored to your individual needs.

Referrals & Rebates
You do not require a referral to access sessions with a clinical psychologist however, you will require a referral from a GP if you would like to claim a Medicare rebate.
Medicare
A Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) from your GP or psychiatrist may allow you to access a significant Medicare rebate for up to 10 sessions per year. An Eating Disorder Treatment Plan (EDTP) may allow you to access 40 sessions per year.
Private Health Cover
Private health insurance providers may also provide a rebate on psychology sessions. If you plan to claim your sessions through private health, please check with your provider before attending your session to confirm your eligibility and the rebate amount. Please note that you cannot claim Medicare and Private Health Care rebates for the same session.
Other Providers
I am unable to provide psychological services under third-party providers such as the Department of Veteran Affairs, Work Cover, or NDIS.
Appointments
I am currently accepting new clients on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays. Sessions are offered in-person at Spring Hill or via Telehealth if unable to attend in person.
Cancellation and Missed Session Policy
I hold your scheduled appointment time specifically for you. I see a limited number of clients so that I can provide each of my clients with the best possible care.
It is difficult to fill a cancelled appointment with short notice therefore a cancellation fee will be charged for non-attendance or cancellations with less than 2 business days notice (48 hours).
Cancellation fees are as follows:
24 - 48 business hours’ notice – $125
Less than 24 business hours notice - 100% of the session fee
Missed session/non-attendance - 100% of the session fee
If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment please advise us as soon as possible.
